Update of OpenstoreWeb is now available, version (2.3.3) . The new version contains bug fixes for:
- Article cache. Previous version could get corrupted cache if more than one session where removing articles from cache, 2.3.3 locks caches when removing.
- Article (jdbc/Oracle) Access. Previous version could left some cursors open and after a while that raised exceptions.
- Article navigation, Navigating with Safari and previous versions, the "last" page button misfunctioned , the action icons could be hidden when entered the last page.

With Openstore outqueue, admins can split delivery simply to one or more servers automatically. Openstore outqueues can have one or more destination servers attached.

To the outqueue ‘Web-Servers’ admin attach three destination servers:

When users place images, articles or videos to outqueue ‘Web-Servers’, Openstore outqueue automatically sends three copies, one for each server.

Admin create one outqueue and names it ‘Video split to TV’
To the outqueue ‘Video split to TV’ admin attach two destination servers
serverTV.host.com (ftp to /data/highres) (send highres with xml and Openstore id as filename)
serverTV.host.com (ftp to /data/lowres) (send lowres with xml and Openstore id as filename)
When users place videos to outqueue ‘Video split to TV’, Openstore outqueue automatically sends a highres copy to destination one, and a lowres to destination two.
Result at serverTV.host.com will be something like

Visibility of outqueues is set by Openstore usergroups.
Openstore outqueues is also used for sending images to image bureau customers, in that way it is very fast to send one copy of image to x destinations.

The OpenstoreRDBVideoIndexer supports snowball stemmer (swedish etc).
Like the OpenstoreRDBImageIndexer and OpenstoreRDBArticleIndexer, OpenstoreRDBVideoIndexer is written in Java and is platform independent.

A new version of loadseparation is available.
Fix in this version: If sysadmin sets setautoreproresolution to for example 300, loadseparation sets that resolution to original image copy, before it sends the file to autorepro engine. For some reason images can have two resolutions (from some dc cameras, bug?), and this fix replaces the bad value, for example if an image have 300 dpi in XMP and 2025 dpi in jpeg data, this fix the 2025 to 300 and autorepro engine will produce correct result.
This is needed for both Openstore autorepro engine, and Colorfactory engine.
The update is available both for sparc and x86 solaris.

A new version of pdffeeder is available.
Fix in this version: if sys admin sets parameter pdflowrestimeout, pdffeeder stop creating lowres after value of pdflowrestimeout (in secs). For some reason ghostscript hangs on some pdf (version 1.4 ?), and this fix keep\\'s the pdffeeder running. This workaround is not needed if bug is fixed in ghostscript (open source postscript tool) but until bug is fixed, add pdflowrestimeout to the openstore.conf file.

SnowballAnalyzer is a stemming analyzer for different languages that filter data before inserting into index, it also filter queries before search.
When creating or updating existing openstore lucene indexes with OpenstoreLuceneRDBImageIndexer , StandardAnalyzer or SnowballAnalyzer be used.
If SnowballAnalyzer is the preferred analyzer You simply adds "-analyzer Swedish" , to get Swedish stemming of data.

The Openstore Lucene indexer v. 1.0 (beta) works with Openstore image archive.

Previous version of Openstore system (on Unix) has a limit for the amount of thumbnails and previews, the limit is due to Unix limitation of max number of links to a dir (32 million).

A new version of the Openstore Autorepro module is released, the new version has two new features.
1: Multi server support, the new autorepro can now be started on as many servers as you want, this means that autorepro missions can be processed by several servers in a cluster of autorepro servers. The setup is as easy as it is for Openstore input clusters.
2: Load balance , the max amount of parallel autorepro processes on each server can now be managed in openstore config file. For example, if you run autorepro on server with limited memory or cpu, you can tell Openstore server to run max 2 autorepro missions at the same time on that server.
The new version of autorepro is available on both Solaris sparc / x86, and Linux.
